Multifaceted artist, Richard H. Jenks, will give a presentation entitled “From Oils to Watercolor” at the September 25 meeting of the Irondequoit Art Club to be held 7:30 PM at Chapel Oaks, St. Ann’s Community, 1550 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621, after the club’s 7 PM business meeting. There is no charge for this event and the site is accessible to all.
Richard received an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College, a BS in Studio Art from SUNY Brockport and an MFA degree from SUNY Buffalo. He taught at SUNY Buffalo in design fundamentals, surface development and drawing fundamentals. His art has been exhibited by the Oxford Gallery, Stuart Steiner Gallery Genesee Community College (Batavia), Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center (Auburn), Cooperstown Art Association (National Exhibition, Cooperstown), Center at High Falls (Rochester), Rochester Finger Lakes Exhibition (Memorial Art Gallery), Theodore Roosevelt Museum (Buffalo), Crossing Borders Castellani Art Museum (Niagara University, Niagara Falls), St. John Fisher Group Exhibition.
