Mission Statement/Purpose: BSA has been encouraging artistic endeavors through exhibitions, art demonstrations and lectures since 1950.
Membership Requirements: None
Media Accepted: ALL
Fiscal Year: February to December
Program Year: March to November, plus December Christmas Party
Cost: $30 adult, $50 couple, $10 student. Non members may attend demonstrations for a fee of $5

The Chili Art Group (CAG)
Year Founded: A not-for-profit artist association founded in1961.
Mission Statement/Purpose. To give our members the opportunity to develop and expand their artistic abilities and interests and to promote community interest in the arts.
Membership Requirements: Membership is open to all who express an interest in the visual arts and are 18 or older.
Media Accepted: Two dimensional, sculpture and photography.
Fiscal Year: June 1- May 31
Program Year: August through May
Cost: Annual dues are $35.
# of Members: Approximately 50
Location of Meetings/Times: The second Thursday of the month (August - May) at 6:30 pm, at the Chili Community Center Senior Center, 3237 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. (Please remove the check social media page, etc.)
Exhibit Opportunities: A judged annual Spring Show and Sale, a judged annual Fall Show, a Summer show (not judged), a rotating display in the Town of Chili Library and other opportunities.

Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA)
Year Founded: 1968
Mission Statement/Purpose: The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) is dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts within the Genesee Valley region through the celebration of artistic expression in all its forms.
Membership Requirements: None, though we hope members will take advantage of our annual member’s show and meeting. Members are also encouraged to attend gallery events and other programming throughout the year.

Mission Statement/Purpose Our mission is to build and strengthen a connection among pastel artists and to benefit artistic development through instructional activities and exhibition opportunities. We strive to encourage and foster creative pastel painting and to promote public awareness of pastel painting as a fine art medium.
