Batavia Society of Artists
Year Founded:  1950
Mission Statement/Purpose:  BSA has been encouraging artistic endeavors through exhibitions, art demonstrations and lectures since 1950.
Membership Requirements: None 
Media Accepted: ALL
Fiscal Year:    
February to December
Program Year:   March to November, plus December Christmas Party
Cost:      $30 adult, $50 couple, $10 student.  Non members may attend demonstrations for a fee of $5

Location of Meetings/Times:  2nd Tuesday of the month - demos at  Go-Art/Seymour Place, 201 E. Main St., Batavia, 14020 - 7pm-9pm - unless otherwise announced
Exhibit Opportunities, juried or non juried:  non juried but Judged - May and December at the Richmond Memorial Library's Gallery Room, 19 Ross St., Batavia 14020 with an opening reception both months.  

August & September, 2 month show at Go-Art/Seymour Place, 201 E. Main St., Batavia, 14020 with opening reception in August.

The Chili Art Group (CAG)
Year Founded: A not-for-profit artist association founded in1961.
Mission Statement/Purpose. To give our members the opportunity to develop and expand their artistic abilities and interests and to promote community interest in the arts.
Membership Requirements:   Open to anyone interested in the arts who is 18 years of age or older. All skill levels welcomed. Chili residency not required.
Media Accepted:   Two dimensional, sculpture and photography.
Fiscal Year: June 1- May 31
Program Year:  September through May
Cost: Annual dues are $35.00. (2021-2022)
# of Members:  Approximately 35
Location of Meetings/Times:  Usually the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30PM, Chili Community Center Senior Center, 3237 Chili Ave. Rochester, Ny 14624. Check social media page or call program chair. for changes and additions.
Exhibit Opportunities: A judged annual Spring Show and Sale in the Chili Community Center, and a rotating show in in the Town of Chili Library, and other oespportuniti.

Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (GVCA) 

Year Founded  1968
Mission Statement/Purpose:  The purpose of the group is to:
  • Promote arts & culture in the Genesee Valley Region
  • Promoting one of the nation’s largest collections of New Deal artwork from the WPA
  • Administering SCR grants to artists, art groups and projects in Monroe and Livingston County 
  • Promote regional artists in our three galleries
  • Cultivate community of artists and appreciators who enjoy participating in openings, family events, classes and more! 
  • Participate in the arts by promoting our members work, events and more on our social channels
  • Promote the folk arts of this region through our connection with GLOW Traditions
Membership  Requirements: None, though we hope members will take advantage of our annual member’s show, our gallery planning and events that we’ve sprinkled throughout the year! Maybe even just come to enjoy some of our programming!

Program Year:  A year from date of sign up; gallery schedule is planned in January.

Pastel Society of Western New York
Year Founded   2015
Mission Statement/Purpose     Our mission is to build and strengthen a connection among pastel artists and to benefit artistic development through instructional activities and exhibition opportunities. We strive to encourage and foster creative pastel painting and to promote public awareness of pastel painting as a fine art medium.
Membership Requirements   All Skill levels, 18 years or older, must work in pastel

Mission Statement/Purpose:  We are a group of Artists with a keen interest in and appreciation for fine art and actively developing artistic talents.  We’re committed to promoting the education, appreciation, enjoyment and distribution of fine art.

Suburban Rochester Art Group
Year Founded  1957
Mission Statement/Purpose   Our aim is to nurture and develop the creative and artistic abilities of our members, through regular presentations, demonstrations, and workshops. A further focus is to bring local talent to the attention of the public through frequent exhibits, which in turn makes a significant contribution to the cultural enjoyment of the community.

Victor Art Group
Year Founded  2015
Mission Statement/Purpose:  The purpose of the group is to:
  • Promote interest in the creative arts in Victor, NY and local surrounding areas
  • Learn and share creative ideas and techniques among its members
  • Provide learning opportunities for all members regardless of media
  • Investigate a wide range of media for understanding, competence, and appreciation
  • Seek new membership in the group and promote appreciation for the creative arts
  • Host and participate in events where creative arts can be displayed and shared with the community
  • Interface with other local artistic organizations to promote and display creative art
  • Support its members in marketing their creations
