He moved to Caledonia, NY with his wife Linda where they opened the Village Gallery on Main Street. Stephens, a Rochester native, received her BFA and Master degrees from RIT. A love of organic form and a spiritual connection to nature is at the heart of her art, which includes oil and encaustic painting, graphite and colored pencil drawing and mixed media. Jean is represented by Oxford Gallery, Shop One and Mill Art Center and Gallery. Artist awards will be presented during the Opening Reception on Sunday, May 7 from 2 to 4 PM. As in previous years, there will be a “Meet the Artists Day” on Saturday, May 13, beginning at 1 PM. Several artists will speak for up to 10 minutes about their entries and answer questions. This will be a unique opportunity to gain insights into the artist’s process in terms of inspiration, artistic journey, background, and techniques.
